COMING UP: Tonight vs. USF, 7 (ESPNU); Saturday vs. San Diego, 5 (KHQ)

OUTLOOK: The Dons lost their first four WCC games before rebounding to crush Portland 104-70 and Pepperdine 78-63, avenging a 16-point loss to the Waves last month. USF is 0-3 on the road in conference, including a 25-point loss to BYU and a 15-point setback to Saint Mary’s. USF opponents are shooting nearly 50 percent from the field and 46 percent beyond the 3-point arc in WCC play. The Dons dealt visiting Gonzaga OT losses the last two years, but haven’t won in Spokane since 1989. USD lost to Saint Mary’s by only six. The Toreros earned their first WCC victory with a win at Santa Clara last week.
