Timberlake boys top Newport
Austin Allen hit three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and Timberlake rallied to erase a 12-point deficit and beat Newport 53-46 in a nonleague boys basketball game Saturday at Newport.
The Tigers trailed 42-30 after three quarters, but outscored the Grizzlies 23-4 in the fourth. Timberlake forced Newport into seven fourth-quarter turnovers.
Trevor Masterson scored 11 points and Allen added 10 for the Tigers, who improved to 10-4. Newport (9-8) was led by Jake Wiley and Travis Martin, who combined for 29 points.

Clarkston 62, East Valley 35: Drew Adams scored 16 points and Kage Sobotta added 13 as the Bantams (9-4, 3-3) routed the visiting Knights (7-7, 1-5). Jacob Hopkins pulled down a team-high nine rebounds for Clarkston, which outscored East Valley 21-9 in the second quarter to take a 15-point halftime lead. J.T. Phelan led the Knights with 15 points.

Northwest Christian 75, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 45: Dakota Winward had 24 points, six assists and four steals as the Crusaders (16-0, 12-0) routed the visiting Broncos (7-8, 4-7). Reuben Clark scored 20 points and Kwin Hanson added 17 points and eight rebounds for Northwest Christian, the defending 2B champion. Dylan Hartz scored 13 points and Colby Starring added 11 for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague.
Davenport 64, Kettle Falls 18: The Gorillas (10-3, 7-3) dominated the first quarter and routed the visiting Bulldogs (2-12, 0-10). Austin Telford scored 17 points for Davenport, which outscored Kettle Falls 27-3 in the first.
Bi-County 1B
Almira/Coulee-Hartline 70, Wilbur-Creston 34: Derek Isaak had 24 points, six rebounds and five steals as the Warriors (12-3, 4-0) got out to a quick start and eased past the host Wildcats (5-9, 0-5). Thunder Wellhausen added 14 points for Almira/Coulee-Hartline. Wilbur-Creston was led by Hayden Herdrick’s 11 points.
Valley Christian 69, Odessa-Harrington 38: The Panthers (13-1, 4-0) grabbed the momentum in the second quarter and raced past the visiting Titans (9-7, 2-3). Craver Small scored 15 points, Jordan Jarvis had 14 and Nick Cox added 11 points and 10 boards for Valley Christian, which outscored Odessa-Harrington 24-5 in the second quarter. Stetson Sanford tallied a team-high 19 points for the Titans.

Northport 70, Columbia 30: Josh Konkler scored a career-high 27 points and the Mustangs (15-2, 10-1) overwhelmed the visiting Lions (4-13, 3-8). Jeremiah Johnson added 12 points, nine assists and six steals and David Higgins added 14 points and 12 boards for Northport. Dominick Marquez had 19 points for the Lions, who committed 27 turnovers.
Cusick 60, Republic 47: Alec Bluff scored a game-high 34 points as the Panthers (7-8, 6-3) beat the Tigers (3-14, 1-3) in a back-and-forth affair in Republic. Dan Slagle had 11 points and 14 rebounds and Jeremy Bertrang added 11 points for Republic.
Selkirk 60, Curlew 27: Avery Miller scored 18 points and Dominic Cain added 16 as the Rangers (8-10, 7-4) routed the visiting Cougars (2-14, 0-9) at Ione. Trevor Grant added eight points and 12 rebounds for Selkirk, which led by 19 point at halftime. Aaron McCullough scored a team-high eight points for Curlew.

Rosalia 59, Tekoa-Oakesdale 53: Craig Nelson scored 27 points to lead the Spartans (9-6, 6-3) past the host Nighthawks (1-13, 0-9). Rosalia outscored Tekoa-Oakesdale 19-13 in the third and held off Tekoa-Oakesdale’s fourth-quarter rally. Max Mueller scored 25 points and Marcus Pluff added 14 to lead the Nighthawks.
Pomeroy 57, LaCrosse-Washtucna 42: The Pirates (6-7, 4-5) came alive in the second half and beat the visiting Tigercats (6-9, 4-5). Mitch Ruchert scored 15 points and Matt FitzGerald added 10 points and 11 boards for Pomeroy, which outscored LaCrosse-Washtucna by 22 points in the second half. Jed Zimmer led the Tigercats with 16 points.
North Star League
Lakeside 67, Kootenai 22: Jonathon Nomee scored 15 points and Brandon Smith added 10 as the host Knights (7-4, 2-0) beat the Warriors (4-7, 2-2) in Plummer. The Warriors were led by Jake Pfeiffer’s seven points.
