(Age 83)

Went to be with his Lord and Savior as he passed peacefully on January 20, 2012 at Sacred Heart Medical Center.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Carolyn Rogers; his daughters, Deborah Phillips and Beth Rogers; his sons, Dale, Thomas, and Brett Rogers; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Mary Charvat.

Wes was born in Tower City, ND in 1928.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1948 through 1950.

He married Carolyn Mae Browne in 1949.

Wes was a long haul truck driver until his retirement in 1996.

He loved John Wayne movies and books, and Mom’s home cooked meals!

Visitation for Wes will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 304 S. Adams, Spokane Valley, WA.

Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
