Born December 16, 1955, lost her battle with cancer on January 27th, 2012.
She was born the only daughter to Harold and Dorothy Sherette in Grand Forks, ND.
Karen is survived by her husband of 38 yrs., Rick Knapp, of Rockford, WA; her daughters, Kristine Kendrick (Michael) of Spokane, and Melissa Carr (Barry) of Auburn, WA; her son, Chris Knapp, of Spokane; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Dallas, Donavan, Delaci, Kaitlynn and Brayden; one great grand-daughter, Jaidyn; her mother, Dorothy Sherette; mother-in-law, Jenilee Whitney; and four brothers.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 31 at 10:00am in the Colonial Chapel of Hazen & Jaeger Valley.
