• Community Colleges of Spokane named Janet Gullickson president of Spokane Falls Community College. She has served as an interim district officer for CCS’ academic services department since 2010.

• Deanna Ervin has been promoted to branch manager for Numerica Credit Union’s Sullivan Branch. She has been with the company for 14 years.
• Branch manager Jennifer Frame has transferred to Numerica Credit Union’s Airway Heights Branch.
Health care
• The Association for Play Therapy (APT) presented Rebecca Rudd with a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor credential. Rudd is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Spokane.
• Darlene Ramelow received a 2012 Daisy Award for Nursing Excellence from Shriners Hospitals for Children. Ramelow works as a registered nurse for the hospital in Spokane.
• Empire Health Foundation board of directors elected Craig Dias and Todd Koyama as new members. Dias is vice president and general manager at Haskins Steel Co. Inc. and Koyama is vice president of private banking at Washington Trust Bank.
Newly elected officers include: chair, Garman Lutz of Cascade Windows; vice chair, Sue Lani Madsen of The Madsen Group; secretary, Anne Cowles, vice chair of the board for development and governance for Mobius Spokane; and treasurer, Dr. Matthew Layton of the University of Washington.

• The Boise Insurance Professional Association named Kelley Macpherson Member of the Year. Macpherson also received an Insurance Professional of the Year award from the International Association of Insurance Professionals (AIP). She works as an insurance professional for Payne Financial Group’s Boise and Spokane offices.
Nonprofit
• Lorna Walsh has been hired as alumni relationship manager for Leadership Spokane. She is a 2005 Leadership Spokane graduate and also serves as business development and outreach coordinator for WSU Spokane’s applied sciences laboratory.
Retail
• Spokane Hardware Supply Inc. promoted Lucas Harmon to its inside sales department. Harmon has been with the company for four years.
Tourism
• Davenport Collection owners Walt and Karen Worthy received an Extraordinary Leadership in Tourism Excellence (ELITE) Award from Visit Spokane’s board of directors during the 13th annual Inland Northwest Tourism Awards.
Transportation
• The American Public Transportation Association’s Transit Development Corporation (TDC) elected E. Susan Meyer as a board member. Meyer is CEO of Spokane Transit.
