Driver runs from scene of accident

The driver ran from the scene of a one-car rollover accident that occurred around 5:40 a.m. today about nine miles north of Spokane. The Washington State Patrol said power lines were stretching across state Highway 291 in Stevens County following the accident. The road was blocked for about an hour, but was reopened as of 6:54 a.m., a news release from the WSP said.
