ANDERSON, Norman

Norman left this world June 28, 2012.

He was born in Eureka, Montana to Axel and Jorgine Anderson on November 6, 1921.
Norman graduated from Everett High School in Everett, Washington.

He served in the US Navy from May, 1942 through December, 1945.

He served on escort carriers and participated in various engagements in the South and North Pacific including Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Guam, Saipan, Phillipines Sea and Palau.
Upon discharge from the Navy, he enrolled at the University of Washington where he graduated in Accounting.

He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1950 in Seattle, WA.

In October, 1958, he and his family moved to Spokane, WA where he established his own CPA firm.

He later joined Lawrence Peretti in a partnership in 1970 and out of that partnership, Anderson, Peretti and Company, CPA’s, P.S., was established.

Norman semi-retired in 1983 and continued to work part- time until his death.
Norman is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary; sons Dale (Celia) of Spokane Valley, WA and Dean of Eureka, MT; a sister Lillian Cronkhite (Warren) of Everett, WA; grandson David (Michelle) McBride and great grandchildren Conor McBride and Alexandra McBride of Renton, WA and granddaughter Amy Lindsey (Brian) and great-grandchildren Grace Lindsey and Liam Lindsey of Spokane, WA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Norman was preceded in death by a brother, William, of Everett, WA.
Norman and Mary retired to Sun City West, Arizona in 1979 and lived at the Royal Oaks LIfe Care Community in Sun City, AZ from 2004 until the present.
Norman was a wonderful husband and father to his family.

His wife Mary was the love of his life and he was proud of his two sons.

He was a very competent CPA and was thought of very highly by all he came in contact with.

Norman will be missed by all who knew him.
No service will be held at Norman’s request.
