HULL, John V.
After a year-long battle with cancer, John passed away with family by his side on July 5, 2012.
He was born in Kellogg, ID on August 14, 1945 to Anna and Harry Hull.
John grew up in Spokane and attended Central Valley High School, where he earned a basketball scholarship to Western Washington University, earning his B.A.
He later entered a 35-year career as a stockbroker, and continued to follow his passion coaching kids in basketball and soccer.
He enjoyed golfing, camping, family vacations, time at the cabin, drinking coffee, and playing all types of games.
John especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, always encouraging and supporting them.
John is survived by Cheryl, his wife of 44 years, and three sons, including Mark and wife, Laura, Jason and wife, Jaime, and Chad and fiancĂŠe, Jodi.
John is also survived by his brother, Blayney Hull, sister, Leanne Peters and her husband Ron.
He was blessed with six grandchildren including Mikki, Tyler, Lexie, Lacie, Aiden, and Cody, as well as a great-grandchild, Christopher.
John will be missed by numerous cousins, in-laws, additional family, and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at his church of 45 years, Redeemer Lutheran, 3606 S. Schafer, Spokane Valley, WA at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 10th.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the John Hull Memorial Scholarship Fund at any U S Bank.
