MESENBRINK, Polly Jean (Hutchinson)
Passed away June 27th, 2012 in Spokane, Washington.
Polly was born March 4th, 1934, in Wheatland, WY.
She is preceded in death by her brother William and two infant children.
Polly is survived by her siblings Lester (Dawn) Hutchison of Twin Falls, ID; Don (Lois) Hutchinson of Boise, and her sister Ellen Kelly of Sokane, WA, with whom she was very close.
She is also survived by her son Drake (Virginia) Mesebrink of Twin Lakes, ID; and her daughter Debbie (Robert)Boleneus of Davennport, WA; and Polly’s grandchilren Jyson (Janis) Muzzy of New Bruswick, Canada, Jessica Stonehouse of Davenport, WA, Ariel and Isabella Mesenbrink of Twin Lakes, Id and great grandchildren Avery and Connor Muzzy.
Polly Jean grew up in Fruitland, ID where she graduated high school.
She lived in Caldwell, ID, Spokane and Seattle, WA and Moyie Springs, ID where she lived for 25 years.
While living in Moyie Springs Polly became an LPN, and shortly after took over managing Medical Records at Boundary Community Hospital in Bonners Ferry, ID; a position she held for several years.
In 1985 and ‘86 she worked as an auditor for Blue Cross of Idaho before retiring.
She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, Royal Neighbors, Rebecca’s, Beta Sigma Phi, and Curley Ques.
She was a 4-H leader, and an avid volunteer for her children’s activities.
She was known for her big smile she flashed to greet visitors.
She loved reading, playing pinocle, visiting, and going to reunions.
Her memorial service will be observed at 1 pm on Saturday, July 14th, at Trinity Bible Fellowship in Davenport.
