Prosperity workshop - Unity Church, 2900 S. Bernard St., will present speaker Ester Nicholson on Sunday during its 10 a.m. service and from noon to 3 p.m. for a workshop, “Make Room for a Miracle.” The cost for the workshop is $35, though no one will be turned away for inability to pay. Nicholson is a recording artist, author, Agape-licensed spiritual therapist and motivational speaker. (509) 838-6518.

Spiritual retreat - St. Joseph’s Family Center, 1016 N. Superior St., will present “Santa Chiara: Your Sister in Faith with Sister Loretta Shaff,” Sunday through Friday. The five-day retreat will celebrate the 800th anniversary of the life of St. Clare of Assisi and will include daily presentations, a Eucharistic Liturgy, evening prayer and a pilgrimage to the Poor Clare Monastery. Fishin’ on a Mission With Jesus - Moran United Methodist Church, 3601 E. 65th Ave., will present its free vacation Bible school, Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Kids ages 3 through sixth grade are invited to listen to Bible stories, play games, sing songs, make crafts and have fun. Hometown Nazareth: Where Jesus was a Kid - Audubon Park United Methodist Church, 3908 N. Driscoll Blvd., will have vacation Bible school Monday through Friday from 5:30 to 7:45 p.m. Activities include stories about Joseph and Mary, Bible lessons, crafts, games, snacks and a petting zoo. Sky: Everything is Possible With God - New Hope Christian Reformed Church, 3110 W. Francis Ave., invites kids in preschool through sixth grade to learn Bible stories, enjoy music, crafts and games, Monday through Friday from 6 to 8:30 p.m.. Summer Senior Days - Immaculate Heart Retreat Center, 6910 S. Ben Burr Road, will present Summer Senior Days on Wednesday and Aug. 1 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event for people 55 and older will include lunch, social time, live music, outdoor games and tours of the center.
