DULLANTY, Richard E.
(Age 83)

Dick was born the middle child of the seven children of Fredrick and Adele Dullanty.

He graduated from Gonzaga Prep, Gonzaga University and Law School, proudly considering himself a triple Zag.

He also proudly served in the JAG Corp of the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Dick practiced law in Spokane and Rockford for nearly 50 years.

He loved his church, his family and his summers at Coeur d’Alene lake.

Dick is survived by his wife of 58 years, Virginia, his children; Rick, Kay, Bob, and Ted and daughters-in-law; Annette and Beth Dullanty, his sisters; Helen Davies, Eleanor O’Meara and Kay Babcock.

He was devoted to his grandchildren; Jenna, Shauna, Laura, Lisa, Devon, Robbie, Chip, Emily, Grace, Sarah, and Max and great-granddaughter Alice.

He was preceded in death by his brothers; Carter and Fredrick Dullanty and sister Maureen McHugh.

He was comforted at the end by the thought of seeing them again, and by the many prayers offered on his behalf.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Dick at Immaculate Heart Retreat Center, 6910 S Ben Burr Rd., Friday, July 27, at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made in Dick’s name to Gonzaga University.
