Obituary: Murray, Lynn Rene Knapp

Age 45

MURRAY,
Lynn Rene Knapp

May 1, 1967 -
June 8, 2012

Entered into eternal rest, unexpectedly, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Spokane, WA, Friday, June 8, 2012.

She had experienced cardiac arrest earlier in the evening and paramedics were unable to resuscitate.

Lynn leaves one daughter, Melissa, and two sons, Ronald and Christopher; her best friend and common-law husband of 11 years, Richard Thomas; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Knapp; three brothers, Robert (eldest deceased), Travis and Trenton, along with one sister, Rebecca Bayer; two granddaughters, Holley and Chyanne; dearest grandpa Francis; family and friends; numerous dogs, cats and critters.

The last decade of her life was spent working on “the farm” in Sprague and caring for “grandpa” Francis.

She often remarked how much she loved her time spent out in the gorgeous, rolling wheat fields and how grateful she was to be there.

She expressed how deeply she adored her conversations with Francis about life, love and plans for the future.

A future that, sadly, will never come to pass.

Lynn was born in Libby, Montana on May 1, 1967.

She spent her childhood years in Northern California with her brothers and sister.

They will always share childhood memories of countless hours spent joking, being silly while playing board games on numerous lazy Sundays and laughing to the point of hysterical tears!

Showing a proclivity for efficient domestic management, entering a room quietly or being unable to voice her opinions aloud …these were not amongst Lynn’s strong suits.

It was her wonderful sense of humor, magnetic personality and caring spirit that will be remembered by those who loved her and knew her best.

As she was well known to haul home any half living plant, animal or human she found abandoned along the road and devote all of her efforts to nursing it back to health, it was often joked over the years that Lynn should have started a zoo.

Above all else, it was her unwavering generosity of heart and compassion for others that marked her contribution to this world.

She will be missed.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, June 19th, 2012 at the Sprague Catholic Cemetery, Sprague, WA.

There will be no visitation service.
