Here’s the Dirt: Valley Thrifty Car expands

Valley Thrifty Car expands

Bernard and Bernadette Curry have expanded their Spokane Valley Thrifty Car location by buying two adjoining properties at 8012 and 8014 E. Sprague Ave.

The Currys purchased the former retail building used by Grizzly Glass at 8014 E. Sprague. They paid $240,000 to owner Hank Halseth. The building is 2,470 square feet; the property includes 100 feet of frontage on Sprague. Their location is a Thrifty Car sales and rental business.

The 8012 E. Sprague lot includes a 1,950-square-foot duplex. The Currys also paid Halseth $240,000 for that property, according to tax records.

In addition to the Spokane Valley business, the Currys operate Thrifty Auto Sales and Rental at 6418 N. Wall St.

Mike King of NAI Black represented the Currys. Marshall Clark of Clark Pacific represented the seller.
