Age 84


BARBERO, Dominick

With his sons at his side, Dominick ended his battle with cancer on April 26, 2012.


Born October 4, 1927 in McCloud, CA.

he began his life as a world traveler at a young age.

He spent his youth in Italy during WWII.

He served his country during the Korean War and settled in the Spokane Valley to start his family, where he lived for 60 years.


Preceded in death by his wife Emma.

He is survived by his sons Robert, Richard and their families.
After retirement from the West Valley School District, Dominick continued to enjoy fishing, golf, gardening and travel.

He has traveled much of the world and many times with his special companion Anne.
His family would like thank Dr. Golden, Dr. Danko and the staff of Cancer Care Northwest and Hospice of Spokane; all who helped Dad/Nonno on his final journey.
The funeral mass will be held Saturday, May 5th at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4521 Arden Road, Otis Orchard.

Father Mike Kwiatkowski will officiate.

Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery will follow.
