Carol was born February 9, 1936 to Elmer and Elnora James in Spokane WA.
She grew up in Mount Hope, WA.
Carol met her beloved husband Ernest Engelhardt, a rancher, in Hunters WA.
They were married November 1,1951 and recently celebrated 60 wonderful years of marriage.
Carol was a L.P.N.
and loved helping others.
She adored her pets Bella and Lacey.
Carol is survived by her husband Ernest; sisters Norma Allen, New Hampshire, and Beth Engelhardt, Soap Lake WA; four children, Jamie Godwin, Kodiak Alaska, Carla (Michael) Haines, Beaverton OR, Jill (John) Larson, Soap Lake WA, Sam (Shirley) Engelhardt, Moses Lake WA; also her beloved Aunt Alice Cooper, Addy WA; eight grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, mother and sister Sarah Forks.
A graveside service officiated by Pastor Ed Dashiell wil be held at Cedonia Community Church, 4562 Hwy 25 South, Hunters, WA at 2:00pm, Sunday, May 6th.
