ANDERSON, Raymond Albert
Entered into rest on May 4, 2012 at the age of 85.
He was born in Kellogg, Iowa on September 27, 1926.
Ray worked for 40 years in Alaska, Washington and Idaho and finally settled down to live in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
He worked at Arden Dairy, Early Dawn Dairy, and ended up being an electrician for Local 173 IBEW.
He was an active member in the Eagles, the Masons and the Shriners in Coeur d’Alene.
He is survived by his 5 children; daughter Nellie Dvorak, sons; Clinton (Tim), Darold, Larry and Edward.
Ray is also survived by his 20 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing many of the area lakes.
Nile Lake was his favorite, where he spent many summers with his family eating mud potatoes and frog legs.
The family would like to thank Sullivan Park Care Center and their staff for the outstanding care and concern they showed Ray.
There will be a celebration of Ray’s life Saturday, May 19, at his son’s home located at 2907 E. Marshall, Spokane, WA from 1 to 5pm.
