1953-2012

On Thursday, May 10th, our beloved John passed away in his sleep.

John was a lifelong Spokane resident.

He graduated from Rogers High and moved on to work for Fairchild Air Force Base as a Civil Engineer, retiring after 34 years.

John earned many awards throughout his career.

For the last seven years he shared a home with Barbara Jewell and their furry children.

John was a wonderful companion, sharing delight in “chick flicks,” cooking, game shows, and had a great appreciation for anything pretty.

He was a sensitive, generous soul and will be missed greatly.

John is survived by his partner-in-crime Barbara Jewell; son Ryan French; sister Peggy French; and brother Rick French.

“When John retired he became a professional ‘napper.’

Enjoy this nap and one day I will be there to nap with you.

I love you John, love always Barbara.”

The memorial for John is pending.
