AUSTIN, Charles H., Jr. “Charlie”
(Age 86)

Born September 25, 1925 in Detroit Michigan
Passed away February 19, 2012 in Couer d’Alene, Idaho.

Charlie grew up in Spokane and served in the Navy during World War II.

He retired from Kaiser Mead and because of his love for fishing and camping, he and wife Audrey made their home in Seven Bays until her death in 2010.

They were married 42 years.

He spent the last 1 1/2 years living in Bayview, Idaho with family.

Charlie was preceded in death by his wife Audrey, daughter Nancy Knapp, son Kenneth Austin Sr, and parents Charles and Belle Austin Sr. His brothers Claude, Ralph, James, Floyd, William Sr. David and sister Phyliss Kilgore also preceded him in death.

He is survived by daughter Vickie Austin, Spokane, daughter-in-law Terrie Austin, Spokane, stepdaughter Linda (Greg) Williams, Bayview ID, and stepson Clifford M. Tarbert, Idaho.

Grandpa Charlie (Grandpa Chuck) was loved by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

He is also survived by sister-in-law Marge Austin, sister-in-law Rose Austin, brother-in-law Bill Kilgore and numerous neices and nephews.
Interment for both Charlie and Audrey will be held Sunday, June 3, at 11:00 am at the Loon Lake Cemetary, Loon Lake, WA.
