Obituary: Bice, Beverly Jean

Age 63

BICE, Beverly Jean (Age 63) Beverly Jean Bice, beloved wife, mother, and Nana, of Mooresville, NC, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, NC.

She was born on January 5, 1949 in Spokane, WA, to the late Ralph and Filippina Russo Cooley.

In her earlier years, she was a member of Silver Spurs dance group that toured the US and Canada.

Later, she was a cheerleader advisor at Mt.

Markham High School.

Mrs. Bice was a devoted Catholic and volunteered at St. Joseph’s nursing home in Utica, NY for 25 years.

Mrs. Bice was also an avid Bingo player, and loved watching her children and grandchildren in sports, dance and any activities they were involved in.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Angie M. Bice.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin W. Bice, Jr.; children, Edwin Bice III and wife, NiCole, Amy Lynn Bice, Christopher “Cubby” Bice and wife, Brooke, Matthew Dale Bice and wife, Rusty; sisters, JoAnn Talotti and husband, George, Barbara Cooley; brothers, Paul Cooley, Robert Cooley and wife, Mary; grandchildren, Briana, Makenzie, Sierra, Bodie, Madison, Brock, Paris, Jordyn, Landon, and Bailey; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 21 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Mooresville, NC, with Rev.

Dominic Totaro S.J.

officiating.

Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.

Also the family would like to say Thank You to Hospice, Gordon Hospice House, and Dr. Krumdieck and his staff for all the care, support, and love for Beverly and our family.
