Arrest anticipated in north Spokane fire

Spokane Fire Department anticipates at least one arrest in relation to a fire in the basement of a northside home on Sep. 24.
“The fire was determined to be incendiary and the investigation is currently open,” a news release from the fire department said.
The fire, discovered in the basement at 4808 N. Martin Street, caused $7,500 worth of damage. Another fire earlier that night, at 125 E. Providence Ave., was determined to be accidental, the release said. That fire caused $25,000 worth of damage.
