Oscar L.
(Age 90)

Passed away on September 27, 2012.

He was born to Fred and Hazel Johnson in Spokane on October 13, 1921.

He attended Willard Elementary and North Central High School.

Shortly after graduation, he married his high school sweetheart Betty Kimble and had a daughter Sandra.

Also upon graduation, he entered the Air Force and became a Technical Sergeant in charge of radio controlled planes which were flown in and around atomic bomb tests.

He was in the Air Force for eight years and upon returning home started his own business, Johnson TV Service, which he owned for many years.

During this time, he was married to Lyda Hedrick, pre-deceased 2003.

After his retirement he volunteered his services at Spokane Falls Community College in the school’s computer program helping students.

He enjoyed logging, fishing, and gardening.

He is survived by his brother James A. Johnson; one daughter Sandra; grandchildren Ben Hatch of Spokane and Helene Hatch of Seattle.

At his request there will be no service.
