SIEBERT, Gary

Gary passed away October 17, 2012 in Spokane, WA.

He is survived by his wife Patricia of 57 years, two children Mark (and Jackie) Siebert, Jeff (and Tammy) Siebert, along with grandchildren Kelly, Katie, Nickolas, Daniel and Blake and two great-grandchildren.

He is survived by one sister, Nancy Duncalfe, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was born May 29, 1935, in Spokane, WA to Rene and Maybelle (Fleming) Siebert.
All his life he loved hunting, fishing, and playing football in the street with his sons and the neighborhood boys.

Gary especially enjoyed playing softball for many years while his wife and sons watched behind the outfield fences.

He retired from AVISTA, formally Washington Water Power, after 39 years.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Rochelle.
He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for 57 years.
On October 20, 2012 a Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 pm at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1104 W. Heroy, Spokane, WA followed by a reception at the church immediately following the service.

A private family service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gary’s memory to his favorite causes, the Union Gospel Mission, 1224 E. Trent Ave., 99202, and Poor-Clare Nuns, 4419 N. Hawthorne St., 99205.
