Passed away peacefully October 22, 2012, in Spokane, WA.
Ruth was born in Emmett, ID, July 19, 1916.
She was a graduate of North Central High School.
Her activities included her church, her family of five generations, and was a founding member, with her daughter, of the “Just for Fun” singing group.
She was an original swing bass piano player.
Their group started in 1994 and is still performing for retirement communities.
Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Joe, and grandson, Ric Gerean.
She is survived by her son, Everett (Susan) Fry; daughter, Julie (Dick) McCarter; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons.
A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held Monday, October 29, 10 AM at BALL & DODD FUNERAL HOME, 5100 W. WELLESLEY, SPOKANE .
Memorial contributions may be made to Lidgerwood Presbyterian Church, 4449 N. Nevada, Spokane, WA 99207.
