Passed away peacefully October 15, 2012 surrounded by family at her residence in Concord, CA.
Ruth,was born November 6, 1932 in Spokane, WA to Erva and Addie Bonnett.
She enjoyed creative endeavors, including quilting, upholstery, and sewing with a passion for working with all kinds of fabric.
Ruth and Ed traveled to Harvest Festivals and Craft Fairs where they showcased Ruth’s beautiful handicrafts.
Ruth, a homemaker also worked in many of the local fabric stores.
Ruth is survived by her childhood companion and loving husband of 60 years, Edward L. McGhee; son, Michael McGhee (Karla), daughters Kathryn O’Connor and Colleen Brenner (Gregory), grandchildren, Bruce, Scott, Katie, Mary, Kori, and Joshua, great grandchildren, Dean and Clayton; brothers Norman Bonnett (Jan) and Dennis Bonnett (Sue) as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 West Wellesley Avenue, Spokane, WA 99205.
