Phone lines down in Othello

UPDATED: Sun., Oct. 28, 2012

All phone lines around Othello, Wash., are down according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Doug Barger said Century Link has identified a break in the cable and repairs should be complete by 9 p.m. Sunday. All 911 lines are down in Othello. The 911 lines in cell phones are out and Century Link is working to fix the problem. Landlines with the 331 and 488 prefixes dialing 911 are being forwarded to the Othello Police Department business line, (509) 488-3314 . “Citizens are advised that if they cannot get through with either calling option, the Othello Police Department is open 24 hours,” Barger said in a statement. The address is 500 E. Main, Othello.
