Open house will focus on shoreline program

The city of Spokane Valley will host an open house Thursday on its Shoreline Master Program, which the city is in the process of updating.

The open house will focus on changes to environmental designations along the Spokane River.

The event is being held in advance of a public hearing on the same topic at the Planning Commission meeting on Sept. 27.

Thursday’s open house is from 4 to 6 p.m. at City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave. For more information, call (509) 720-5335.
