Obituary: Branch, Michele Lynn
Age 62
She was born May 21st, 1950 in Spokane, Washington to late parents George Beck and Nella (Bartleson) Beck.
Michele or “Shell” as close friends and family would call her, attended Central Valley High School in Spokane, and graduated in 1969, followed by Spokane Falls Community College where she earned her AA degree in Accounting, and then went to work at Spokane Neighborhood Action Programs (S.N.A.P.)
where she spent 22 years.
Michele met her husband, the late Dr. Robert Charles Branch, in Spokane, and the two were married on September 14th, 1996.
They moved to Wenatchee nine years ago, to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
Both greatly enjoyed the outdoors, and traveling in their RV, accompanied by their faithful companion pets.
Family and friends were Michele’s passion and delight; she relished every opportunity spent with them.
She was also a lover of all animals, and God’s creations.
Her bravery and positive outlook, along with her smile, remain inspirational to all who knew her; she will be cherished and loved always.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert C. Branch; and survived by her brother Bruce Beck and sister in-law Heather of Coeur d’Alene, ID; son Joel Stralser and daughter-in-law April of Bonney Lake, WA; stepson Eric Branch and wife Lucy of New Westminster, B.C.
; stepdaughter Amy Branch of Seattle, WA; stepson Dave Klein and wife Traci; Chris Klein, all of Spokane, WA; grandchildren Aubrie and Drew Stralser of Bonney Lake, WA; and many cousins and their families.
She is also survived by her two beloved cats, Jesse and Jaime, and many numerous friends.
Service times will be Saturday, April 27th, 2013 at Bonaventure Retirement Home, 10:00 am, and at New Song Community Church at 1:00 pm, both in East Wenatchee.
