Obituary: Klein, Ronald J.
Age 62
(Age 62) Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend, Ron entered into eternal life on April 19, 2013.
Ron was born on October 5, 1950 in Spokane, Washington to Thelma and F.A.
“Spud” Klein.
A graduate of West Valley High School, Ron served his country as a communication specialist in the U.S. Air National Guard before returning to the Northwest to study business and marketing at the University of Puget Sound.
After receiving his degree, he joined URM Stores, Inc., where he worked in the purchasing department for 35 years until he retired in 2009.
Once retired, he delighted in making frequent trips to visit his grandson Jack.
Ron will be remembered as a family man who loved tenderly, acted justly and walked humbly.
He enjoyed waterskiing and boating at Hayden Lake, where he and his father Spud had rebuilt a vacation home together.
Ron was also a long-time member of St. Paschal’s Parish, where he served as a Knight of Columbus.
He was a faithful and prayerful servant of the Lord.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents Thelma and Spud.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Emily; by his daughter Marisa (John); by his siblings Richard (Natasha) and Trish (Charlie); by his grandsons Jack and James; and by many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at St. Paschal’s Parish (N. 2523 Park Rd., Spokane Valley).
The Rosary Vigil will be on Friday, April 26th at 7:00pm, and the Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, April 27th at 9:30am.
Donations may be made in Ron’s name to St. Paschal’s Parish or to Assumption Parish in Spokane.
