From staff reports
The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the man who robbed a Spokane Teacher’s Credit Union branch in Moran Prairie on Thursday afternoon. The robbery occurred around 12:20 p.m. at 5711 S. Hailee Lane. A branch employee said the robber - described by deputies as a white male in his 20s to 40s, standing 5’ 10” and weighing around 180 pounds - walked up to the desk, demanded money and then left. He was not found in the area. Credit union officials and the Sheriff’s Office have not released how much was stolen. In a surveillance photo of the suspect released Thursday, the robber is wearing a black face mask and sunglasses to conceal his face. The Sheriff’s Office released a photo of a bright blue van, which is a vehicle of interest in the case, according to a news release. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at (800) 222-TIPS or visit the website crimestoppersinlandnorthwest.org. A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
