Ever wonder what it’s like to drive an exotic sports car or ultra-luxury sedan? Hertz is now letting Average Joes and Janes indulge their inner billionaires via its recently introduced Dream Cars service in 35 markets across the U.S. Auto aficionados can now have access to such coveted models as the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Audi R8, Bentley Continental GT, Cadillac CTS-V, Ferrari California, Lamborghini Gallardo, Mercedes-Benz SL, SRT Viper and Tesla Model S as daily rentals. While piloting a car with a six-figure sticker price for the day is far more affordable than buying one, it’s not exactly cheap. According to Hertz spokesperson Paula Riviera, the cost starts at around $350 a day for a Porsche 911 or Boxster, with an Aston Martin V8 Vantage or Audi R8 costing $1,000 a day and upper crust rides like Bentleys, Ferraris and Lamborghinis commanding a $1,500 daily rate. That includes a limit of 75 miles driven, with additional miles costing as much as $3.00 - each.
