Obituary: Potts, Leora

POTTS, Leora Leora (Rummer) Potts was born on March 20, 1929 to Lloyd and Elsie Rummer and passed away on July 26, 2013 after a long hard fight with cancer.

Leora was preceded in death by her husband Mel Potts; former husband of 49 years Robert Dale Moffatt, and youngest son Richard Lee Moffatt.

She is survived by her two children Susan Bridgman and Ron Moffatt; her grandchildren Russell, Ryan, and Aaron Moffatt and Kelly Bridgman Younger, and great-grandson Ian Younger.

Leora spent many years in the food service industry, she was one of the original waitress at the Matador Room in the Davenport Hotel; and her favorite position as Mgr.

of the Rail Bird Room at Playfair.

She enjoyed visiting any casinos in Nevada, Idaho, and Washington and had a reputation of often hitting the jackpot!

She will be missed not only by her family but a large circle of friends.

Her memorial service will be held at Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church 4102 S. Crestline, Spokane WA, August 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM.

A reception will be held immediately following at the Broadway Court Estates, 13505 E. Broadway.
