BROWNE’S ADDITION – Residents must sign up by Sept. 3 to be part of a free appliance pickup scheduled for Oct. 15. Large appliances must be moved to the curbside; please remove refrigerator and freezer doors and drain hot water heaters. Leave a message at (509) 850-0836 with name and address to arrange pickup.

Parent group hosts open house Aug. 29

NORTHWEST SPOKANE – The Northwest Parent Cooperative, 1926 W. Chelan Ave., is hosting an open house on Aug. 29 at 6 p.m. Stop by and learn more about toddler and preschool programs.
