Obituary: Whitney, David J., Sr.

WHITNEY, David J., Sr. (Age 85) Born in 1928 in Montana, David passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013.

He is survived by his wife, Roseanne and his children, Skip, Mark, Brian, Greg, Scott, Christopher, Danny, Katrina, Deanna, and Patrick.

He is preceded in death by two boys, Rick and Mike, and his first wife, Betty.

David left behind a very large extended family with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

As a boilermaker David’s work took him all over, from Grand Coulee Dam to Hanford, and he worked on many structures all over Spokane.

Following retirement from the Boilermaker Local 242 Union, David enjoyed family, friends, gardening and working on his hot rods.

Services will be held at a later date.
