Obituary: Proffitt, Daniel Joseph
He is survived by his daughters Jessica, Nichole, Kim and Tamara, his parents Joseph and Jeneane, siblings Diane and David, and 10 beautiful grandchildren.
Daniel was born on August 16, 1954 in Seattle WA.
During his lifetime he was an avid outdoor enthusiast and loved being in nature.
He enjoyed camping with his children and grandchildren, and he was known among his friends and family as a man who could fix anything.
In particular, Daniel appreciated passing his values and hobbies onto his grandchildren, with special emphasis on the simple pleasures in life.
Much of his professional life was spent working on the high seas in Alaska as a skilled fisherman and engineer.
He is loved and will be missed by many.
A memorial service will be held in Daniel’s honor on Sunday, February 10th at 2pm, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 9706 N Division, Spokane WA, 99218.
