Obituary: Holschen, Patricia “Patty”

HOLSCHEN, Patricia “Patty” On February 19, 2013, Patricia “Patty” Holschen left to be with our Lord and join her baby daughter, Renee, who preceded her in death at the age of eight weeks in 1969; son, Shane, who passed away in 1996 at the age of 26; and sister, Sylvia Green, who passed away in 1992.

She is survived by her husband, Dick, who will greatly miss her as his lover, friend, barber, nurse, caretaker and source of joy.

She will also be greatly missed by her first grandchild, Renee, Shane’s daughter; her son, Rich, who with wife, Tamara, gave her seven grandchildren: Zachary, Hannah, Caleb, Ruby, Josh, Grace and Isaac; her youngest, daughter, Catherine, who with husband, Ken, gave her four grandchildren: Daniel, Martha, David and Esther, and will add a fifth in July.

She is also survived by her mother, Gwendolyn Tyree, brother, Dale Tyree, and sisters, Mary Schott and Terry Johnson.

Besides those above, Aunt Patty will be greatly missed by numerous nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

There will be a Memorial Service at 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 27th at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA.
