Fowl weather friends: Neither snow nor rain nor a flock of ducks can prevent U.S. Postal Service carrier Kristopher Krampert from the swift completion of his appointed rounds Tuesday near the corner of 22nd Avenue and Manito Boulevard in Spokane. More than 60 mallards meandered through the yard looking for a bite to eat. Krampert says he sees them often when delivering the mail. “They are used to me.” (Dan Pelle)
