Obituary: Koerper, Bernice O.
Our dear mom passed away on January 14, 2013, after being afflicted with Alzheimer’s for many years.
She was an inspiration to us all.
She taught us to appreciate life to its fullest and how to roll with the punches.
The lives she touched with her kindness and beautiful smile are beyond counting.
Thank you to all of her friends and relatives for not forgetting about her, and thank you to the wonderful people at Prairie View for the excellent care and love they have shown to her and the rest of our family.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband and our beloved father, Whitey Koerper.
She is survived by her children, Sharlyne and Kent Clawson of Bellevue, Sandra Koerper of Federal Way, Buck and Cindy Koerper of Spokane, Susan and Steve Weldon of Federal Way, Shelley Koerper of Spokane; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many relatives; and friends.
No funeral services; a celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in her name.
