AAA: Average price of gasoline in Washington $3.79

BELLEVUE — The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Washington is $3.79. That’s 12 cents higher than July 1 a year ago. But, it’s down 2 cents in a week and 15 cents in a month. And, it’s 30 cents higher than the national average. The average price in Spokane is $3.76. Some other metro prices from Monday’s AAA survey: Bellingham $3.81, Bremerton $3.76, Seattle-Bellevue-Everett $3.83, Tacoma $3.74, Olympia $3.77, Vancouver $3.78, Yakima $3.77 and Tri-Cities $3.65.
