Mobile home destroyed by fire in Spokane Valley

A 12-year-old boy called 911 to report a fire around 11:10 a.m. on Tuesday. Valley firefighters found a fully involved structure fire in a double-wide mobile home. All the residents, including a man, three boys and a dog, escaped unharmed. The residents reported hearing a popping noise and seeing the lights flicker before noticing the fire. The fire department spokesman said the home was destroyed.
