Obituary: Mallory, Margaret Ellen
Age 74
Margaret was born January 31, 1939 to Edmond and Margaret Moran in Denver, Colorado.
She was survived by her three loving children, Lori Castellanos, Teri Etherton (Jon), David DeFoe (Patty); twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; her two brothers Joseph and Patrick Moran; and her sister Julia Giminaro.
Growing up, she lived in several towns throughout Colorado and Utah and graduated from Judge Memorial High School in Salt Lake City.
She then moved to Spokane and graduated from Gonzaga University with a degree in history and a teaching certificate.
Shortly after college she married and raised her family while working at the Spokane Guild School and a family-owned business.
Mom loved March Madness and the Zags, she loved to quilt, bake, and garden, but most of all she loved to spend time with her family.
She always knew what her children and twenty-one grandchildren were doing at any given moment.
She knew her family’s lives and interests and it showed in every gift she made and the cookies she baked.
She worried, she cared, she gave, and she loved.
We will miss her dearly.
A memorial Service will be held at 9:30am, Friday, August 2, 2013, at St. Joseph Cemetery located at 17825 E. Trent Avenue, and a reception following the service.
