Age 96
He was born October 20, 1916 in Spokane to Carl and Mable Rockser.
Don was a building contractor.
He enjoyed music, dancing, wood craft, computers, gardening.
He never lost his passion for life and expressions of love for those around him.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lois and his brother Robert W. Rockser.
He is survived by his loving partner of thirteen years Vi Nagley; son Bob (Sherri and her daughter DeeDee) of Spokane; grandson Robert (Katie) and great-grandson Keaton of Ferndale, Washington; cousin Marguerite and her son Mark (Jonni Bergeron) of Bellevue; Vi’s daughters Cheryl (Bill) of Portland, Oregon and their children Michael and Stephanie; Stephanie Nagley (Joann Halle) of Silver Spring, Maryland; and his beloved four legged companion Abee of Spokane.
He is also remembered by several relatives of his deceased wife.
Don leaves caring companions including Anthony Tevlin, his personal trainer and his daughter Giselle; Carol Froehlich (Tim) of Spokane; Sharon Thomas of Deer Park.
The family is grateful for the caring staff of Deaconess Medical Center, Hospice of Spokane and Family Homecare.
His kind and gentle spirit, good humor and constant curiosity will be greatly missed by those who shared this journey with him.
Memorial service Friday, August 2 at 2p.m.
