Obituary: Driftmeyer, Karwyn
Karwyn was born October 7, 1941 in Hamilton, Montana to Charles and Marian Bright.
She was raised in Spokane and graduated from North Central High School in 1959.
She raised her two sons in Spokane.
She also raised her younger sister, Diana, after the death of her parents in 1967.
She moved to the Seattle area in 1991 and became a member of First Presbyterian Church in Bellevue.
Karwyn loved all things artistic, gardening, painting, fishing and boating.
She was a decorator in the Seattle and Spokane area for many years.
She is survived by two sons Peter, Oak Harbor, and Paul Driftmeyer (Peggy) of Beaux Arts; grandsons Jack and Ben Driftmeyer; brother Dale Bright (Deanna); sister Diana Ransier (Charles); nephews Thomas and Steven Bright and Murphy Ransier.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8th, at 10am at Covenant Shores Fellowship Hall, 9150 Fortuna Drive, Mercer Island, Washington.
She will be laid to rest at Greenwood Memorial Terrace in Spokane, Washington.
