GREENWOOD, Darrell E. “Papa” Of Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii, formerly of Spokane, Washington passed away peacefully on February 3, 2013 at Garden lsle Hea1th Care at the age of 93.

Born on December 8, 1919 in Spokane, Washington, he was the sole proprietor of Greenwood Builders, master boat builder and designer.

He was in the United States Army, World War II Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Vera Greenwood.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Greenwood, Lihue, HI; daughters, Nancy (Jerry) Hines, Arizona, Margot (David) Milligan, Anahola, HI and Rebecca (Jack Kellum) Walters, AZ; sons, Stephen Greenwood, Arizona, and David (Erica) Greenwood, WA; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends.

He was our greatest friend.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14 at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, WA.
