Police search for suspect in attempted bank robbery

From staff reports
Spokane police are searching for a man who tried to rob a Chase Bank on 5508 N. Division this afternoon. At about 2:44 p.m., Chase employees tripped the robbery alarm after a white male entered the building and demanded that the clerk give him money. He implied that he had a weapon, but the clerk refused to give him anything. No one was injured. The man left the bank and fled in a vehicle. He is described as 5-foot-6-inches tall, between 140 and 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a bandana.
