Obituary: Hardin, Dolores “Dee” Ann, Danelo
Age 86
Dee attended Yardley, Alcott, Libby Jr. High, and graduated from Mary Cliff High School in 1944.
Dee married David G. Hardin March 30, 1946 and together operated Empire Cycle Company, the largest Triumph-motorcycle dealership in the Northwest from 1952 - 1969.
Dee served at the Sacred Heart Service League as a volunteer, was an officer and a member of the American Italian Club, a devoted member of St. Paschal Catholic Church and served as a lector and Eucharistic Minister on many occasions.
Among many activities, Dee loved growing Italian tomatoes and peppers and working in her yard as well as watching horse racing, going to the casino and catching a junket to Reno and Boom Town.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Graziella “Grace” (Rendina) and Pietro “Peter” Danelo; brothers, Joe, Mike, and Tony Danelo, as well as her late husband, David G. Hardin.
Dee is survived by her beloved Maltese Doo-Doo, her two children, Charles D. (Mickey) Hardin and Terria Lee Hardin; grandson, Charles D. (Anisse) Hardin, Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 1 PM at St. Paschal Catholic Church, Spokane Valley.
Inurnment will be held at a later date at Fairmount Memorial Park.
