Obituary: Goodburn, Donald Eugene

GOODBURN, Donald Eugene 53 Years of Life A resident of Spokane, Washington, formerly of Ellensburg and Garfield, Washington, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 in Spokane from complications caused by ALS - Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

He is the dear husband of Denise Goodburn of Spokane, and the son of Mrs. Eva Goodburn of Spokane Valley.

Don’s sons are Dustin Bowman of Ellensburg, and James Schiff and Jeremiah Jones of Spokane.

Don’s daughters are Desiree Bowman of Grangeville, Idaho, Lacy Coulson of Chico, California, and Nichole Tresedder of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

His grandchildren are Jeb Schiff, Avery Tresedder, Dillon Coulson, Jace Bowman, Amiee Bowman, D’Ali Warren, and Elijah Jones.

Donald is brother and brother-in-law to Diane and Randy Green of Deer Park/Chattaroy, WA, Teresa McPherson of Spokane Valley, and Karen and Philip Kuntz of Veradale, WA.

Born in 1960 at Puyallup, Washington, Donald served with the Washington Army National Guard, and worked as a commodity truck driver and as a farm laborer.

He loved the out-of-doors, good times with everyone, music of all kinds and slow dancing, and rodeos.

Funeral Services honoring Mr. Goodburn will be in Spokane at 3:30 P.M., Friday, May 17, 2013, at the Life Center - Foursquare Church located at North 1202 Government Way with Pastor Shawn Stone officiating.

Military honors and flag presentation will be by the United States Army/Washington State Army National Guard Honor Guard of Spokane, Washington.
