Kootenai County sheriff

Allison Moate, Coeur d’Alene, reported Sunday the $975 theft of makeup, hair straightener, iPod and pistol from her home on the 1000 block of South Meyers Hill Road.

Robert Foxx, Hayden, reported Friday the $780 theft of binoculars, backpack, cash, first-aid kit and a knife from his 2004 Toyota Tacoma parked at his home on the 8400 block of North Audubon Drive.

Linda Hetrick, owner of Classic Nail Studio, reported Friday the $450 theft of cash and $450 damage to a door and cash register at the business at 32 W. Honeysuckle Ave.
