She was born in Max, North Dakota as Alma E. Wendschlag.
She lived in Wallace, ID from 1946 - 1969 and then moved to Spokane Valley, until she was called home.
She is survived by her children, Coryn Mercer, Robert Wenger and Michele, Christy and Joseph Krauss, Cherrie and David Thompson and Rusty (Harry Jr.); grandchildren: Debbie, Jeanette, Scott, Madeline, Mary, Mariann, Jason, Tracie, Tina, Samantha and Kelly; great-grandchildren: Sheyanne, Dakota, Brendon, Shelby, Arley, Isaac, Steven, James, LeleRose, KaylahMarie Alma, Davone, Deandre, Deshion, Alissa, Renee, Justine, Trevor, Jake and Hannah; great-great-grans: K-CI and Kayden; numerous nephews and nieces Dwight, Peggy and Eric.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA.
Memorial services will held in her honor on Friday, October 18, 2013at 2:00 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home.
