Obituary: Chrisman, Corey Jerald
Age 37
Corey had been battling a deteriorating heart condi- tion for three years before traveling to Portland for an emergency procedure that eventually led to his passing.
His wife Hillary, and other family members, were by his side when he left us.
Corey was born on April 27th, 1976 in Vancouver, WA, but grew up in Tacoma where early in his life he developed a love for classic cars and later became an accomplished tile setter.
Ten years ago, Corey moved to Spokane with his two sons, Cody and Corey, and his wife to be, Hillary.
They later had a daughter, Halikai, who truly was a ray of sunshine for him during these last couple of difficult years.
Corey spent the majority of his time attending his son’s sporting events, working on his family’s house, and coaching Halikai’s T-ball team.
Most recently, Corey could be found making a lasting impact at Lowes Home Improvement; while at the same time continuing to be a reliable mechanic for his family and friends.
He enjoyed spending days on the lake with his family; and when not otherwise engaged, the Seahawks could always count on his support.
Corey is survived in death by his parents, Darren and Janice Cooper; his brother, Mike Chrisman; his sister, Teara Chrisman; his wife, Hillary Chrisman; his children, Cody, Corey, Corina, and Halikai; and many other family and friends.
Corey’s wife, Hillary, and his family welcome you to join them in remembering him this Saturday, September 14th, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Zion Lutheran Church of Millwood.

Corey fought hard for several years before succumbing to his heart condition.
Though we are thankful that he is no longer in pain, Corey will truly be missed by all those who knew him.
