Obituary: Tingley, Gladyce Evelyn
Age 89
She was born August 15, 1924 in Minnesota to Swedish Immigrants, Nanny and Belter Anderson.
She moved to Spokane in her twenties with her sister Manda, and met and married James Tingley in 1949.
She was a hardworking homemaker and mom who loved her family, reading, and painting.
She was a longtime member of Greenacres Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Manda Knutson and Mildred Olufson; brother, Sam Anderson; her husband, James Tingley; and beloved daughter, Elaine Tingley.
She is survived by her daughters, Janene Koch, Susan Thomas (Chuck); grandchildren Corrina Koch, Rick Koch (Leazlee), Marisa Schneider (Jake), Taylor Thomas, and Katie Gates.
Gladyce is also survived by her great-grandchildren, J’Lee and Cash Schneider, Ryan and Josh Koch, and Graysen Harris; and several nieces and nephews.
No services are planned.
She was loved by us all and will be greatly missed.
